The "Reut - Sderot" Association was established by the Educational Core Group Afikim BaNegev in 1993.
The members of the group are educators and social activists who settled in the city of Sderot from all over Israel .They established a prosperous community of about 170 families who are all involved in social activism and educational activities in the city. The Reut Association has decided to focus its efforts in the city of Sderot, in which there are high levels of poverty, unemployment and social distress.
The goal of the group is to become part of the Sderot community and promote progress in education, social welfare and community involvement.
